Simon played in The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at Carnoustie, St Andrews and Kingsbarns in Scotland. Simon shot 69 at Carnoustie, 72 at St Andrews and 75 at Kingsbarns leaving him at level par four shots shy of the halfway cut of four under par.

In the Pro-am part of the event Simon was partnered by amateur Gordon Wilson and their score over the three days was thirteen under par - the cut falling at twenty one under par.

Simon now travels to Spain to play in the Madrid Masters beginning on Thursday.
