Simon Wakefield last week played at the Barclays Scottish Open, Loch Lomond. Simon had scores of 72 and 75 and finished with a total of 147, missing the cut. Martin Kaymer won The Barclays Scottish Open title to add to his previous success at the Open de France ALSTOM success. His final round of 69 at Loch Lomond finished 15 under par 269, two ahead of France's Raphaël Jacquelin and Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano of Spain.

Simon now has some time off before the SAS Masters on the 23rd - 26th July 2009.
