Simon last week played at the Open De Espana, Girona Spain. Simon shot 73, 76 in the first round but unfortunately missed the cut. His final score of 149 and 5 above par left him in 121st place. Thomas Levet Won the tournament fighting through a succession of challenges to claim his fifth European Tour title - a record for a French player - by two strokes from Paraguay's Fabrizio Zanotti.

Simon now moves onto the BMW Italian Open, Royal Park I Roveri, Torino, Italy. Simon's tee times for Italy are from tee 10 at 12:50pm local time (11:50am GMT) with Robert Rock and Seve Benson. R2 time is 07:50am local time (6:50am GMT) from tee 1.
