Simon shot rounds of 75 and 75 in the first two rounds of the Madeira Islands Open Bpi Portugal and was eight over par missing the halfway cut by two shots which fell at six over par. Argentina's Goya Estanislao won the event on six under par.

Simon now travels to Seville in Spain and plays in the Open de Andalucia at Real Club de Golf de Sevilla beginning on Thursday 26th March.
