Final Push

Hi everybody, hope you're all well and have had a good season.
I've had a good season so far. I've got a new caddy which I'm delighted with because he is one of my close friends from Stoke-on-Trent. I've known Martin for about 20 years and we played at the same golf club together so when I finished with my old caddy I knew Martin would be perfect for me. He was working on the ladies tour and they had a week off so I asked him to come and work for me for one week. That was at the Barclays Scottish Open in Inverness. We had a great week, we finished about 49th which is not the best result but... MORE »
Back in Europe

Hi Everyone, Well here we are back in Europe after a long few weeks in the desert and India.
We are here in Sicilly, Italy which is the first of three tournaments in Europe in a row now, next week I'm in Malaga, Spain then Agadir, Morocco. The last few weeks in the desert and India were good fun, I played ok in Qatar but missed the cut then had a nice week off in Dubai but practiced and went to the gym every day which I really enjoyed.
The following week was India, that was a really good week. I played solid but the putter didn't work too well and finished 54th. After India I went back to Qatar to do... MORE »
Reflections

As I sit here on New Years Eve, I reflect back over my year. It started so bright with the birth of my son Benjamin on 18th January. That was a really proud moment and a great start to the year. I then spent about three months at home before heading off for my first event of the 2010 Challenge Tour season in Kenya.
It was a difficult time of the year for me because I'd just got back to full health after suffering from pleurisy in late 2009 and now had to play on the Challenge Tour, which is the tour below the main European Tour. I had to come to terms with the situation but it took me a... MORE »
Long time!

Hi everyone!
Sorry it's been so long since I wrote my last blog but I will try to keep you more updated every month now!
Well this has just been a wonderful two week break after a long busy season. After been seriously ill last year it's taken me a while to get my health, fitness and game back on track but I feel I'm getting there. My plan at the moment is to get into the top 45 on the Challenge Tour and get to Tour School and start rebuilding my career from there. I miss the European Tour so much and realise that's where I belong. I really enjoyed being at the Ryder Cup last week and it's given me... MORE »
All Summer Long

Hi Everyone, Hope you are all having a good golfing season so far.
I've been playing so much this year that I haven't had time for anything else. Since my last blog I've played every week but the results haven't been going my way.
I've got a new coach since I spoke to you last. His name is Jamie Gough and he is from South Africa. He also coaches David Howell and James Kingston. I've been working with him since Wentworth and I feel we've been doing some great work and working hard - just the results aren't showing yet but they will soon.
The last few weeks I've been seeing some great shots coming back into my game so I'm very excited... MORE »
